Service on the HHN Board of Directors is your opportunity to help drive the decisions of our highly-respected national association and shape the future of the healthcare hospitality industry. This is an exciting time to join the leadership of HHN, as we map our ambitious future.

Board service is a chance to grow personally and professionally, to develop skills, gain unique experience, and enjoy lasting friendships with our passionate and motivated leaders.  HHN’s dedicated staff takes care of day-to-day operations, enabling the board to focus on matters of strategic importance, improving our programs and services.  Board service also provides these unique opportunities: 

• Develop valuable skills in non-profit governance, program planning, and strategic planning 
• Expand your network of professional contacts
• Gain recognition from your employer, community, or peers 

Expectations:

• Be an active and current member of HHN.
• Dedicate time for quarterly conference calls and 2-3 in-person meetings. 
• Contribute financially to HHN through an annual board pledge; not dictated, but averaging $250-$500 per person.
